A mischievous and exhilarating show about us, the audience. The most talked about show at this year’s Edinburgh Festival, Audience is funny, unconventionally beautiful and, in places, downright outrageous.

“There is undoubted power in the piece, but because the show is set up in such a way that the power resides with the cast, it makes it easier to dismiss as a mere theatrical prank. Because some people don't join in doesn't make them better people, just more knowing about the manipulations of this kind of interactive show. ”

“It's discomfiting and stimulating. But it would have been better and less arrogant if the performers had asked us more and showed us less.”

“God bless the Londoners. Faced with confrontational Flemings, they glared disapproval at the girl-baiting, tepidly acquiesced in applause, sullenly resisted injunctions to shake their collective booty. Makes you proud to be British.
